This is American Actress Mary Brian (1906-2002) and even though it seems to be a vanilla photo, I still like it. Because it depicts just the kind of Female/male relationship that I love. The man so devoted, mesmerized by her sheer beauty and presence. He is deeply sunken into kissing her hand, worshiping her. Nothing on the world that could distract him now from his beloved Mistress, nothing on Earth matters more to him than her.

And same time as she accepts his worship, her attitude is quite different. She does not concentrate on him as well. Not at all, it seems that she is hardly taking notice of his adoration. Her look is directed over him and beyond. To new adventures, more worshipers, more capable adorers. Soon she will leave and break his heart the picture tells us …. and he will suffer while she already forgot about him. We can see that coming but he does not… That´s the story of the picture and that´s why I love it.

Apart from the pearls of course … and the fur, oh those wonderful furs they had …

Helmut Newton for Yves Saint Laurent in 1981

One of the great artists and most popular phtographers of all times who´s work definitely has a wonderful kinky fetish touch to it. Helmut Newton is one of the guys who has paved the way for Femdom imagery to make it from a dark and somewhat shady background right into the spotlight of fashion, art and culture. Like in this work here he did as a fashion shoot for Yves Saint Laurent back in 1981:Helmut Newton Museum

So much that I like about this photo: The scenery of course, the kneeling man in servitude and the towering womans arrogant look down on him from above. They are alone yet same time also watched by a curious audience. The picture makes us think and wonder, has she staged this little happening to demonstrate her power over him … or did it just happen coincidentally when she simply needed to have her stockings rearranged? Perfect light guidance, see how the light coming from above is just wonderfully illuminating the faces of the two persons; watch the shadows repeating the action going on in the front on the wall in the back….

And last but not least…. I sure love her fur collar that she holds as if it was a whip …

Ahh, this is all just perfect … and the Helmut Newton Museum (http://www.helmutnewton.com/) will for sure be worth a stop during My next Berlin visit.

Vintage Venus

This is a photo that I sadly not know anything about, except that it was taken in the 1930s obviously. So it must speak and stand all for itself. And it very well does:VintageVenus

Not to good in printing quality I admit but oh My… Is this not the pure essence of Female domination? It does not look as if staged by actors, it seems so real. Thats why it so clearly speaks to Me. The kneeling male body tells us of his unlimited obedience, he totally submits to the woman above him. Her self assured look down on him. The way she casually presents her breast by opening the lush fur coat. Her beautiful sandals. The crop in her hand, symbol of her reign. Wonderful, I wished I knew more about that. Can anyone of you be of assistance here?

The knowledge has been there for centuries. That´s how the relationship of the sexes has always been meant to be. Woman above men. The woman sitting on the column, high above the slave at her feet. Looking down on him. He is worshipping her, kissing her feet, adoring her. Does this not look so natural, so self understood? This is how I always have seen myself since I was a young girl.

Looking at pictures like this does not only arouse Me. It confirms My deep conviction that Femdom Supremacy will finally prevail over silly pathetic manliness.
